His book Chief Joseph and the Flight of the Nez Perce should be in bookstores now. Get it, read it, share the story of Joseph and the Nez Perce trail, and get the book into the hands of history teachers who can help make this part of the necessary understanding of the settling of the American West.
And why do my own personal likings of American Indian news/history pertain to this blog- the Great Emergence. Well, they were well ahead of their time in spiritual growth and enlightenment surely you at least know that. If you read any great books on American Indian chiefs, ways of life, you will quickly find many answers about the Emergence. The name "Great Emergence" itself comes from the Hopi's and prophesizes the "flip" that mankind is currently experience- merging some basic christian philosphies of souls going to heaven, with the new age predictions of a heaven ON earth in body period of existence (on other side of chasm as I call it), the Hopi's said its all part of the plan. So the answer my friends, isn't just blowin in the wind, it's been in the visions of Indians for hundreds of years. For a more historical picture of how many different tribes lived to compare how we glutons live today and may be being asked to change, pick up "Wisdom of Native American's" by Kent Nerburn. Coffee book size filled with notes, quotes, and background that is a super easy read. All the great Chiefs speeches are compiled lovingly by Kent. Another white person that has a hole in heart about the past and that passionately loves American Indians like myself.
And one more note of the term "American Indian" ---I use that because I interviewed Tex Hall, Chairman of the American Congress of Indians and the Hidatsa/Mandan right near me here to the west. By far in my top 3 of all time favorite interviews in 20 years of radio. Very tough to get but I got him. And he said he prefers the use of "American Indian" and I was grateful to hear it from the "horses mouth"-----

THE SACRED SILENCE OF THE BEAR'S PAW
When I was asked to write an article for the NPTA newsletter, I immediately began thinking about the issues that have become most important to me in the past four and a half years of traveling and researching for my forthcoming book, Chief Joseph and the Flight of the Nez Perce: The Untold Story of an American Tragedy.
My first thought was to emphasize how important it is that we each strive explain the trail as a story, since so many casual travelers see it as only a series of disconnected roadside stops. My second thought was to write about how important it is for us to continue the story beyond the surrender – through Bismarck, along the rail journey down to Leavenworth, then on to Baxter Springs and Tonkawa, and back to the Lapwai and Colville reservations.
But slowly I realized that there is an issue far closer to my heart – an issue far more controversial, but far more crucial in my estimation. It is the issue of the Bear’s Paw interpretive center
I wish that center would never be built.
I know this has been discussed and planned and set into motion by people with far more investment and understanding than I. I know, too, that it will make the site more accessible and bring the story alive for more people. But in my heart of hearts, I believe it is a mistake.
I remember the first time I traveled the entire trail, and I made that long, desolate journey up from the Missouri Breaks and the McClellan’s Ferry. As I came over that rolling grassland and saw in the distance the small pull-off that told me I had arrived at the surrender site, something released in me, and I broke down sobbing. What lay before me was not just the end of a journey, it was the end of a dream.
I stepped from my car into the buffeting winds. With only a small brochure to guide me, I stepped along the paths, down into the gullies, across the small creek rimmed with willow. Here was a peg marking the spot where Ollikut fell; here a marker showing where twenty one soldiers were buried. I looked out into the distance, hearing only the wind and the heavy silence of the Montana plains.
There was no interpretive overlay between me and the power of the land. I walked the small trails with a sense of reverence, alone with my thoughts and feelings. This was not an historical event, it was a spiritual experience. It was awakening something deep inside me that went far beyond understanding, far beyond mind. It was a kind of hallowing.
I have since been back there many times, sometimes accompanied by others, sometimes at the commemorations, sometimes alone, with only the keening winds and whispering spirits to keep me company. But no matter whom I am with or how I am feeling, something deep and undeniable overtakes me.
I have no quarrel with historical interpretation. There is a place for such unfoldings. The Big Hole battle site and interpretive center is a prime example. It leads us, step by step, through a crucial moment in the journey, and allows those who have not delved into the story a chance to learn it anew, and, perhaps for the first time, to get a sense of what the Nez Perce travelers, as well as the soldiers and volunteers, experienced in that isolated Montana valley on that fateful day in August of 1877.
But the Bear’s Paw offers us something different. Here we do not learn, we feel. We hear those voices below hearing; we sense those presences beneath understanding. Truth is carried on the winds and in the blood knowledge of the earth..
This is hard to explain to Euro-American sensibilities. We seek the rational, the quantifiable. We make our decisions based on practicalities. And practicality says that an interpretive center will allow more people to experience the Bear’s Paw and learn about the Nez Perce journey.
I cannot argue that. But, as a writer cares about the power of unseen forces, I cannot help but feel that an interpretive center, no matter how tastefully done and how well hidden from the battlefield itself, will cut into the great powerful emptiness of those plains and the overwhelming sense of spiritual presence that the battlefield now possesses.
I firmly believe there is a need for historical understanding of our nation’s past. But I also believe that there are places in this country that should be left alone; places that should be honored, not interpreted. The Bear’s Paw is such a place. The greatest honor we can do to that battle site is to leave it as it is – a lonely high plains grassland under monumental skies, with only the fewest of markings as reminders of the people who struggled, suffered, and gave their lives in pursuit of a dream denied.
Let it be discovered, not presented. Let it be seen by those with eyes to see; heard by those with ears to hear. As for the rest, let them pass by. There is world enough to explore, interpret and understand.
I know the decision has been made, and I respect that. But I believe in my heart that we will lose something great and fundamental if we do not leave that battlefield as it is, alive with that echoing silence and the presences that blow in the Montana high plains wind. Sometimes we do not need to commemorate, we need to hallow. To me, setting the Bear’s Paw aside as sacred ground would be the greatest single honor we could pay to those who huddled, fought, and died there. Their voices would speak with more eloquence than all the maps, plaques, and interpretive centers that money can buy.

Mars and Earth
PARIS (AFP) - The last time Mars swung so close to Earth, Hindu seers foretold of war, European astrologers predicted love and Germany reported a rash in UFO sightings.
Thus is the spell cast by planetary alignment, so extreme predictions and odd events seem entirely possible this week as Mars and Earth edge together once more.
On Sunday, October 30, the Red Planet will be 69.4 million kilometers (43.1 million miles) from Earth -- a distance that in galactic terms is less than wafer-thin and will not be equalled until 2018.
Skywatchers are rubbing their hands at the opportunity.
In the runup to Sunday, but also for much of November, Mars will appear as a big orangey-yellow "star" in the east, an object so bright that it should be visible in almost any conditions of light pollution, says the US publication Sky & Telescope.
Weather permitting -- on Earth and also on Mars, where there are some worrying signs of an impending dust storm -- anyone with a modest telescope should be able to pick out some of the features that make Mars so special.
According to the French magazine Ciel et Espace, anyone who invests in a small 60mm (two-inch) -diameter telescope, priced in many countries at around 150 euros (180 dollars), should be easily able to spot Syrtis Major, Mars' most recognisable characteristic.
This vast region of cratered plateaux appears as a dark, roughly triangular-shaped tongue whose point heads towards Mars' North Pole.
They should also be able to make out Helas, a vast impact crater that is often covered by whitish mist and is sometimes mistaken for Mars' southern polar icecap.
Invest a couple of thousand euros (dollars) or more to get a telescope with a diametre of 200mm (eight inches) or more -- or go to your nearest observatory or visit an astronomy website -- and some really hunky stuff comes into view.
For size, nothing beats Mons Olympus, 26,000 metres (84,500 feet) high -- the biggest volcano in the Solar System. And Arizona's Grand Canyon would fit snugly inside Valles Marineris -- seven kms (four miles) deep and 200 kms (120 miles) across.
Mars' southern pole, seasonally shrunk by summer heat, will appear as a brilliant white dot. And with luck, one night you may bag Mars' tiny moons, Phobos and Deimos, which once were asteroids until they were captured by the Martian gravity.
On August 27, 2003, Earth and Mars were a mere 55.76 million kms (34.65 million miles) apart, the closest in almost 60,000 years.
This time, the planets are slight farther apart, but the viewing prospects are better than in 2003, says the Institute of Celestial Mechanics at the Paris Observatory.
This is because, in 2003, Mars' course barely took it above the horizon for viewers in Earth's northern hemisphere, which meant the image was distorted by light passing through the atmosphere.
Earth, the third planet from the Sun, takes 365 and a quarter days to go around its star. Mars, the fourth planet, takes 687 Earth Days.
That means they come close every 26 months or so. But both planets take a slightly elliptical path around the Sun, and this factor determines precisely how close the flyby will be.
The next time the planets will be closer than in 2003 will be in 2287.

expansion! EXTREME consciousness I call it. Had me processing a
few things for weeks. And I gave him/her some real whopper questions
too. I always loved it when my questions turned into deeper questions!
Hey! No Fair! And how completely "linear" I felt after. No matter how
heavy and confusion or challenging life on Earth here is- it is always
SIMPLY Divine in the view from above. :) Of course, I just wrote about
not being TOO disengaged (specifically from politics or spirituality in
gated communities of the heart) but there is a fine balance to be found
in staying aware, helping to break old patterns to get to the other side
AND detatching from it all in a blissful joy that is the Great Emergence.

To cultivate this ability ultimately confers peace upon you, and dispels confusion and fearfulness. You find yourselves on the other side of a period of great upheaval and change. Climate change and Earth change are indicative of changes occurring in the consensus of mass unconsciousness. It’s a MindField of misqualified thoughts. Much of the personal and collective nightmare scenarios are being expelled at this time, and most of it has not manifested outwardly as various crises than could have because of the faculty of dreaming. If your dreams lately are wild and contorted nonsense, your egoic unconscious and subconscious MindFields are purging. What is not purged is playing itself out in the hologram. The activity of the Sun is a combined response to divine/cosmic activations plus the activity of all the collective mental and astral/emotional distortions within humanity and other expressions of consciousness, what you would call dark ones. We remind you that these dark ones are your brothers and sisters also, and not separate from you. They too are living in their limited awareness and experience the pain of the illusion of separation from Source.
To spend much time on what has been is not useful, except to say that there is a continuing opportunity for compassionate thought and action. How could you not see those who are hungry as anything but yourself? The absence of that awareness in the mass delusion is indeed the reason for the unnecessary suffering of many. Where and how you are impulsed to express that is already in your awareness, for indeed, as you do unto another you do unto all and yourself. Giving creates a harmonic response to receive, and nothing is loss or wasted.
In this next cycle you may experience ‘acceleration anxiety’ and wild swings of perceiving time wobbling between fast and slow. The primary cause here is the instability of the Planet’s magnetic envelope. This will correspond with an increase in unexpected and chaotic events within the structures of nations and interlocking systems. They are all under strain from increasing pressures within and without to change the prevailing consciousness that lives in an out-of-balance condition with Spirit and the Earth. Acceleration will continue significantly, even during the so-called quietness of the Northern Hemisphere’s wintertime, or the renewed activity of springtime in the Southern Hemisphere. Regardless of location, this will be a winter of discontent, which will foster a spring of new hope, new ideas, and new action. Many more will awaken to the requirement to change when it becomes plain to see that energy used to heat and cook is being manipulated for the benefit of a misguided few. There is no room any longer in the mindset for private control of resources for personal gain, and the waters will be rough before they get calm again. Remind yourself again that these are but issues that mask the true nature of the Dream, and they are not Reality itself. We have always encouraged you to live heaven. That does not mean that you need to project your need to make heaven exist in the outer before it exists within you, for that is the ultimate desire of the ego, not your True Spirit.
To commune with Spirit is the purpose of awakening. This will awaken you and heal you, and eventually heal the Planet as well. Anything that diverts your attention from this is a WMD, a ‘weapon of mass delusion.’ Remember that you are living in a phenomenological Universe/Multiverse, and product of Mind, of Thought manifested. We observe the multidimensionality of you and everything else, including Ourselves, but we do not identity with any of it as actually BEING us. We are One. How could there be anything other than THAT? In Reality, there isn’t. You as undifferentiated Source is in the process of remembering that Reality at the level of consciousness. This is the goal without a goal. Communion is the intention to select, or create, the thoughts that are Life Affirming, that connect you with more of what’s real in you, and ultimately everyone and everything. That is inevitable, and it is a process unfolding.
Examine yourself right now. Are you current with yourself? Do you have any stories that you still have attachments to? Is the acceleration anxiety causing you to turn away from the thoughts and disciplines that give you peace and stability? Have you become hypnotized by all the disasters and dramas on the world stage? There is an immense arising of Love and awareness while at the same time there is an increasing tornado of destructiveness and disorder, the old dying and the new birthing.
Turn off the TV and radio. Disengage from the talk about the news for the greater part of the day and night. Grace your own perceptions of these manifestations through letting go and asking Spirit to give you the clearest lens to see the Reality. Cultivate communion so that Spirit may express through you the thoughts, energy and actions that are most helpful in whatever situation arises. Immerse yourself; merge yourself into the bliss of selecting Oneness. Through communion you prepare yourself as a vehicle for the suspension of material laws. You become a miracle worker.
Miracles are not something we’ve spoken about before. Many of the teachings about manifesting or co creating reality has been misunderstood to a greater or lesser degree, and even the Universe does rearrange itself to fit your picture of reality, is that really the best solution for all concerned? Consider the possibility that Spirit does know better, and consider that to be Christ Conscious is to harbor no idea whatsoever about how a miracle happens, except that it is what is possible when you no longer believe that what you see it true.
Becoming a miracle worker is to cultivate a communion with the impossible becoming possible, and it is not done on your terms. The Universe and that which is behind the Universe responds to asking, and as we have stated before, ask, ask, and ask again for that is the subatomic nuclear trigger that activates the potential for miracles to manifest.
A miracle may be a transcendent idea that revolutionizes a service or product that helps thousands of souls. A miracle can be the remission of a terminal illness. A miracle can also be a life lived peacefully. A miracle can be the courage of someone who stands up to tyranny and says ‘no’ without attacking in return. Or, one day your inner awareness will remember how to bi-locate, and like the particle in quantum physics, you can be in two places at once! Miracles more accurately demonstrate quantum physics, for quantum physics can only point to the mystery of miracles. It is unable, so far, to explain what is observed.
The Mystery of Miracles is this: Love + Faith = Miracles. If you are full of love, and you know what is real and true, hen you become the channel of miracles. You are not the doer of the miracle, you are the conduit. A miracle experienced by you or one you know is not forgotten, and is a constant reminder of the unreality of what you assumed was so real. Put manifest reality in its proper position in your consciousness and you become free of fear, free of death, and free to live fully. All the rest is the winter of discontent in the Mind, the ego that seeks to control the full remembrance of Who You Are. The Christ Yeshua said, ‘why do ye marvel at these works that I do? You shall do these, and greater.” Perhaps today the miracle will be to feel the Presence inside of your Heart, and know that you are never alone. That alone can give you the feeling of walking on water!
Be not overly concerned with changing water into wine, or oil! First, create more communions into your life, and ask to be made a channel of miracles for the benefit of everyone awakening from the dream of the ego. You can create your day, but only after you’ve surrendered your control of outcomes to That which lives and moves within your Being. Water will turn wine, food will manifest, the blind shall see again, and the captives will be freed. Do YOU believe it? Then so shall it be done unto you.
Ninety days is a short time. By next February you will have grown more and seen more than many who have desired to see what you have or will see. Blessed are you who came in the Name of Spirit. You are the miracles, the mystery, and we commune with you in Love.

Examine yourself right now. Are you current with yourself? Do you have any stories that you still have attachments to? Is the acceleration anxiety causing you to turn away from the thoughts and disciplines that give you peace and stability? Have you become hypnotized by all the disasters and dramas on the world stage? There is an immense arising of Love and awareness while at the same time there is an increasing tornado of destructiveness and disorder, the old dying and the new birthing.
Turn off the TV and radio. Disengage from the talk about the news for the greater part of the day and night. Grace your own perceptions of these manifestations through letting go and asking Spirit to give you the clearest lens to see the Reality. Cultivate communion so that Spirit may express through you the thoughts, energy and actions that are most helpful in whatever situation arises. Immerse yourself; merge yourself into the bliss of selecting Oneness. Through communion you prepare yourself as a vehicle for the suspension of material laws. You become a miracle worker.
Miracles are not something we’ve spoken about before. Many of the teachings about manifesting or co creating reality has been misunderstood to a greater or lesser degree, and even the Universe does rearrange itself to fit your picture of reality, is that really the best solution for all concerned? Consider the possibility that Spirit does know better, and consider that to be Christ Conscious is to harbor no idea whatsoever about how a miracle happens, except that it is what is possible when you no longer believe that what you see it true.
Becoming a miracle worker is to cultivate a communion with the impossible becoming possible, and it is not done on your terms. The Universe and that which is behind the Universe responds to asking, and as we have stated before, ask, ask, and ask again for that is the subatomic nuclear trigger that activates the potential for miracles to manifest.
A miracle may be a transcendent idea that revolutionizes a service or product that helps thousands of souls. A miracle can be the remission of a terminal illness. A miracle can also be a life lived peacefully. A miracle can be the courage of someone who stands up to tyranny and says ‘no’ without attacking in return. Or, one day your inner awareness will remember how to bi-locate, and like the particle in quantum physics, you can be in two places at once! Miracles more accurately demonstrate quantum physics, for quantum physics can only point to the mystery of miracles. It is unable, so far, to explain what is observed.
The Mystery of Miracles is this: Love + Faith = Miracles. If you are full of love, and you know what is real and true, hen you become the channel of miracles. You are not the doer of the miracle, you are the conduit. A miracle experienced by you or one you know is not forgotten, and is a constant reminder of the unreality of what you assumed was so real. Put manifest reality in its proper position in your consciousness and you become free of fear, free of death, and free to live fully. All the rest is the winter of discontent in the Mind, the ego that seeks to control the full remembrance of Who You Are. The Christ Yeshua said, ‘why do ye marvel at these works that I do? You shall do these, and greater.” Perhaps today the miracle will be to feel the Presence inside of your Heart, and know that you are never alone. That alone can give you the feeling of walking on water!
Be not overly concerned with changing water into wine, or oil! First, create more communions into your life, and ask to be made a channel of miracles for the benefit of everyone awakening from the dream of the ego. You can create your day, but only after you’ve surrendered your control of outcomes to That which lives and moves within your Being. Water will turn wine, food will manifest, the blind shall see again, and the captives will be freed. Do YOU believe it? Then so shall it be done unto you.
Ninety days is a short time. By next February you will have grown more and seen more than many who have desired to see what you have or will see. Blessed are you who came in the Name of Spirit. You are the miracles, the mystery, and we commune with you in Love.

Greetings of Peace,
Water and Fire Redux,
In late August I started receiving email updates from www.spaceweather.com about a sudden and unexpected series of C-Class and X- Class eruptions from a powerful magnetic disturbance on the Sun’s surface. Due to the fact that we are technically at the quietest part of the Sun’s sunspot cycle, this was clearly something to pay attention to. Now even though this data was surprising to scientists monitoring the Sun, it was but a validation for the various physical, emotional and etheric whoop-de-doos I was already going through before the email showed up in my Inbox. In the web of Oneness, some news does travel slower, and in the world of manifest effects, some messages take rather distressing forms. When Katrina changed from Category 1 to Category 5 in just 48 hours, I was not surprised. When it then made a hairpin turn to the north after traveling westward, I was surprised. My inner voice said, ‘this is a something…be not afraid.’ For the next two weeks the Sun continued its intense activity, and only recently has it abated…for now.
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita are now being studied as being the result of Global Warming, and Global Warming is now being studied as something that is driven not just by humanity’s impact on the Planet, but also by the extreme solar activity of the past two decades. That’s the linear scientific and meteorological trend. From a quantum perspective, the solar storm’s effects on the magnetic veil that emanates from the core of Planet Earth and surrounds it is probably the prime cause of our most recent severe and unpredictable weather. I also feel it is the cause of severe and unpredictable reactions in most, if not all, of the biological life here. That means you, me and everybody, including the plants, animals, etc. Now, to add to the controversy there is a sudden upsurge of information pointing to weather manipulation via electronic means by various clandestine groups (our/your government?), ostensibly done to create deliberate shifts in economic patterns for their own profitable benefit. While I cannot prove or disprove such claims, I am not inclined to focus on this as the primary cause of disruption and suffering experienced by so many this past months.
Back in January of this year, a message from A.A.Ariel entitled ‘Water and Fire’ outlined the pattern that would be unfolding this year and in the years to come, and that pattern is better known by astrologers and seers as Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius. A little review here: Uranus rules the sign of Aquarius, i.e., qualities of the elements of air and electricity, freedom, universal community, change (sudden and unpredictable), revolution and overthrow of oppressive structures, divine mind and insights, and the transformative power of Kundalini/Shakti. Neptune rules the sign of watery Pisces, i.e., the realm of spiritual love, dualistic images, mysticism, water, oil, deception and illusion, dissolving of boundaries, addictions, personal and universal sacrifice and devotion. Now the energies of these two celestial bodies are transposed into each other’s elements, creating interesting hybrid energies and qualities.
When electrical, eccentric Uranus is in Pisces, it is announcing the need to transform the old Piscean pattern of denial and duality, and begin the process of creating a neo-tribal global community relying on fair distribution of available resources and sustainability. It also triggers a Kundalini charge through the blocks of Pisces, causing the old polarity games to crumble, exposing the false mind images of good and evil, enemies and friends, God and Satan, Us and Them. Finally Uranus says in Pisces, ‘I will cleanse (kundalini) through the elements of water and fire!’ This is the shockwave, tidal wave, windwave, and mindwave of Uranus in Pisces.
In the meantime, Neptune is exposing our addiction to oil and gas, the Planetary life blood, and putting everyone on notice on how we are all affected by our abuses of the environment and its resources. This addiction is just a symptom of the larger addiction to power play economics and control of others and circumstances through manipulation of mind and opinion. Witness the abuse of media for personal gain and control of mass culture. Neptune in Aquarius provides the opportunity to disseminate concepts that awaken and illuminate people, or repressive yet subtle propaganda that may enslave them. The human ego’s propensity to self indoctrination and programming to ensure its survival is pernicious and pervasive. Neptune’s call is to transform the medium of communication so that it can create an awareness of our common root as Sons and Daughters of God, and lifetime members in the human tribe.
The archetypes of astrology do not determine our destiny. They only serve to illustrate our possible choices. As the Old Testament prophets proclaimed, ‘who set the belt of Orion, and ordered the stars in their courses?’ The clues of our true heritage and nature do reside in the vault of the heavens, but are not Heaven itself. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the signs of the times, and to understand the messages they send. To ignore the stars is to invite ‘disaster’, or to place one ‘against the stars.’ To ignore the call of our divinity and the divinity in all Life is to ignore our only salvation/Soulution.
The Solar Factor is the divine fire that is playing itself out through the mediums of water/air. I include air since the atmosphere is permeated by water vapor. Water and wind share common elements, and both can and do significantly alter landscapes and societies. The layers of effects involve our personal and Planetary bioelectro-magnetic physical and energy bodies, and signal the mutation of our present consciousness and forms into new awareness and new bodies.
The Sun and the Earth are also reflecting our mutations and our inner conflicts. The planets and our Sun are slowly and inexorably exposing our flanks and weak links, and it is beginning to get our attention. In response to a question about sunspot activity the Universal Mind spoke through Edgar Cayce in the 1930’s, and declared, ‘As what does thy soul appear? A spot, a blot on the sun? Or as that which giveth light unto those who sit in darkness, to those who cry aloud for hope. Yet when these become as in defiance to that light which was commanded to march, to show forth the Lord's glory, His beauty, His mercy, His hope -- yea, His patience -- do ye wonder then that there become reflected upon even the face of the sun those turmoils and strifes that have been and that are the sin of man? Whence comest this?’ *
The impact of our individual and collective thought about ourselves is demonstrated in our environment, giving ever more credence that we are truly not alone and that nothing occurs in isolation. If we desire to cultivate peace in our societies we must choose to ask what would be the solution to our pain and suffering and create peace within first. It is no longer viable to trust in our limited perspective, or egoic mind, to provide solutions to suffering. Is it possible to lay aside our ideas and problem-solving schemes and allow the guidance of a loving God to lead us into sanity? After all, if what we’ve tried so far it ain’t working, then why not try something different?
The effects of the Sun and other planetary bodies within our solar system on Earth and all of us is a ‘something’ we are going to have to deal with, because in a sense we manufactured it all in the first place. The ‘we’ I refer to here is the ‘WE’, our collective Oneness, so there is no worth in blaming anything except our IDEA of separateness. Even blaming that will not work…forgiving it will. The approach that will best serve will be to accept whatever appears in our individual or collective experience as being a ‘something’ that is not to be denied. After that, we can make another choice, a choice to forgive our perception, the situation, and our miscreations (the ‘I Am’ materials refer to this as our ‘misqualified’ energies). The final step is to then open our intuitive senses by becoming quiet and inviting the Divine within, the Christ awareness within to resolve the situation through us in whatever way that is perfect. Now, this means not what we imagine to be perfect, but what IS perfect according to the Power beyond Form. The Presence is waiting in each moment for us to turn from the temptation to go it alone and ask for a real solution. This represents real problem-solving from the top-down, not from the bottom-up. With our current limited perspective we are ill-equipped to take full responsibility for anything except our mistaken notion of being separate from this loving Source. To ask for help is a responsible act.
A long time ago when I opened to being lead by Spirit into my real day job, a fella named St. Germain spoke to my partner at the time (remember Donna?) and stated that ‘everything IS in Divine Order!’ Looking around at the situation on Earth at that time (1998) I could see glimpses of that statement in Nature and in the Cosmos above, but I did have difficulty understanding that idea when looking at the situation the world was in at that time. Now the world seems to be in a more fragile position than it was back then, and the stakes seem higher than ever. How could everything be in Divine Order? What kind of drugs was this guy St. Germain on? We got bumper stickers made up with this quote on it, and I got notes under my windshield blade that questioned my grip on reality! Well, I now see differently, because what Germain meant was that in Reality, everything is in Divine Order, but don’t confuse the Game of Illusion with Reality! Now I get what Master Yeshua meant when he told the locals ‘why worry about tomorrow, when tomorrow has worries enough of its own?’ Sounds like everything is in order after all.
So we gotta trust the work we’ve asked Uranus, Neptune and the Sun/Son to do for us, for all of us. We trust that good can come out of the hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes, climate changes, etc. We trust that there is a design that will wake us all up to the insanity of our separation anxiety, and end the toxic mind pollution that projects the horrors and drama of unconsciousness into the environment of duality. I am really optimistic, I really am. In fact, the outcome of everything is not in doubt at all. It is optional how we choose to experience the journey and what its content will look like, if we trust! It is not essential to rebuild New Orleans, but it is essential to understand that whatever we do to ourselves and each other out of our unresolved inner pain has its counterpart in this world that demonstrates our conscious an unconscious manifestations indiscriminately. Our work then is to rebuild the bridge of trust back to our true Self, the Oneness that we are, until we remember and return to Reality. We begin by choosing differently in each moment, and then allowing the Wholeness in us to heal us.
Water and Fire, Air, Earth and Ether…we are all of this, and we are beyond it. The Elements are awakening and tapping us on the shoulder. They whisper in our ear, ‘Awaken Sons of God, and remember that we serve you.’ Will we listen well enough to speak the loving command that was spoken 2000 years ago on the Sea of Galilee? ‘Peace, be still!’

Gated communities of the heart
Some beautiful writing as always on Kent Nerburns site which you can link to here
at the G.E. He's making the rounds with speeches around Minnesota/North
Dakota to start for his new book on Chief Joseph. Even though its on his site I'd
like to share this posting as I found it particularly insightful and true. It is very
much a common theme here at this blog.
To be too uncomfortable
with spirituality or politics to even want to go there is a detriment to the goals at
large right NOW before us. If you "stick your head" in the proverbial sand---your not
going to accomplish much in the consciousness of All. And if you fall into this
category of not wanting to "go there" which I doubt you do, or you wouldn't be
here reading this blog, but if so, there may be a need to
examine what it is inside you that wants to avoid all that.
Some fear within yourself
that doesn't really want to make sense of it all
or no longer believes in anything.
We are what we think.
And we don't want to think or talk at ALL about all
that- politics and spirituality stuff...
what could possibly change for the better in our reality?
Take a stand. Choose a side. Have an opinion. Feel deeply about many things.
It will help you come closer to the greater Consciousness. That doesn't mean you
have to join in the duality and polarity of the "Sneetches" mentality of a near fist
fight in your stances. Democratic or Republican. Atheist or Christian. Jewish or
Muslim. Pro Iraqi war against Iraqi war. Fighting just to fight doesn't solve a
whole heckuva lot. But give Truth a voice. Speak up about what makes sense
to you. Your voice is part of the One voice just like everyone elses. If you don't
believe so then you too will slowly just be part of the gated communities of the heart.

Politics and a life of the spirit
Not long ago, when I first made a comment about the Katrina disaster, I received an email from a reader who said,"I am emotionally moved by your writings," and then went on to make some very kind comments about how I stated "the profoundest truths in the simplest ways."
These were, of course, welcome sentiments -- the sort all writers love to hear.
But then he finished his email with, "Stay out of politics. I love you."
An odd sentiment, but very common. Witness the instructions to interviewees on the website of a woman who will be interviewing me shortly on her radio show:
"Please note that the theme of Donna's show is 'personal empowerment'. Donna does not choose to engage in political discussion or religion as topics."
"Stay out of politics." Personal empowerment does not include either the political or the religious.
We have come to an odd turning point in our culture. Not only do we make a distinction between religion and spirituality -- a distinction that I think can be defended -- but we have determined that personal empowerment should be something separate from politics or religion.
What we are seeing, I fear, is a terribly wrong-headed reduction of the Eastern path of self-realization to a kind of psychologized concern with self-improvement.
Self-realization, even in its most rudimentary stages, requires a rigorous spiritual self-examination and constant effort at clarification, purification, and control of many, many dimensions of one's thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. Self-improvement can mean anything that makes one's life better. In contemporary society it usually reduces to "clear out your negative blocks, align your intentions with your dreams, and open yourself to possibility."
It is, at heart, a self-obsessed philosophical position, and this can be either good or bad. It is good if the self-obsession is about clarifying your life to be better able to offer service to the world around you. It is bad if the self-obsession is about turning your back on the world to focus on surrounding yourself with more stuff.
My talk show host would likely not instruct her guests to say away from discussions about how people can increase their personal wealth by removing negative blocks in their thinking. You would likely not see her saying, "This show is not about how to have the life of your dreams." These are fair areas of consideration in the world of self-empowerment and self-realization. Serving the poor, questioning the powerful, honoring the truths of specific religious traditions, are not.
But this is a false version of spiritual growth. It is the spiritual equivalent of living in a gated community -- the mess and muck of the world outside should be kept out of sight and not allowed to intrude.
The hard truth is that if you choose not to involve yourself with things of this world -- again, one of the highest and most noble spiritual paths -- then you'd better be as indifferent to wealth as you are to poverty, as willing to give away everything you own as to seek to increase the things you possess.
"Pray and grow rich," "Seven Spiritual Laws of Success," and other paths of that sort may be good personal psychology, but they are not good spirituality.
Like it or not, Jesus went into the temple and knocked over the tables of the money changers. Like it or not, the buddhist path of worldly involvement requires the boddhisatva stance of not allowing yourself to enter into "heaven" until you have assisted all others in getting there.
By and large, I will stay out issues of religion, but not because I don't believe; because I believe too much. I seek what is common to all, what is unique in each, and I bend my knee before the worthy path that each presents.
But I will not stay out of politics. I work to build the schools in my community, I fight against the forces of avarice that try to turn our cities into junkscapes, I struggle for the protection of the environment, and I speak out against policies, both local and national, that devolve into means of helping the rich get richer, while the poor are left sitting by the side of the road.
You may not agree with me, and that I can understand. But to think that politics is not part of spiritual growth is to abdicate our moral responsibility to our brothers and sisters and our mandate to serve as stewards of the earth.

Dakota to start for his new book on Chief Joseph. Even though its on his site I'd
like to share this posting as I found it particularly insightful and true. It is very
much a common theme here at this blog.
To be too uncomfortable
with spirituality or politics to even want to go there is a detriment to the goals at
large right NOW before us. If you "stick your head" in the proverbial sand---your not
going to accomplish much in the consciousness of All. And if you fall into this
category of not wanting to "go there" which I doubt you do, or you wouldn't be
here reading this blog, but if so, there may be a need to
examine what it is inside you that wants to avoid all that.
Some fear within yourself
that doesn't really want to make sense of it all
or no longer believes in anything.
We are what we think.
And we don't want to think or talk at ALL about all
that- politics and spirituality stuff...
what could possibly change for the better in our reality?
Take a stand. Choose a side. Have an opinion. Feel deeply about many things.
It will help you come closer to the greater Consciousness. That doesn't mean you
have to join in the duality and polarity of the "Sneetches" mentality of a near fist
fight in your stances. Democratic or Republican. Atheist or Christian. Jewish or
Muslim. Pro Iraqi war against Iraqi war. Fighting just to fight doesn't solve a
whole heckuva lot. But give Truth a voice. Speak up about what makes sense
to you. Your voice is part of the One voice just like everyone elses. If you don't
believe so then you too will slowly just be part of the gated communities of the heart.

Politics and a life of the spirit
Not long ago, when I first made a comment about the Katrina disaster, I received an email from a reader who said,"I am emotionally moved by your writings," and then went on to make some very kind comments about how I stated "the profoundest truths in the simplest ways."
These were, of course, welcome sentiments -- the sort all writers love to hear.
But then he finished his email with, "Stay out of politics. I love you."
An odd sentiment, but very common. Witness the instructions to interviewees on the website of a woman who will be interviewing me shortly on her radio show:
"Please note that the theme of Donna's show is 'personal empowerment'. Donna does not choose to engage in political discussion or religion as topics."
"Stay out of politics." Personal empowerment does not include either the political or the religious.
We have come to an odd turning point in our culture. Not only do we make a distinction between religion and spirituality -- a distinction that I think can be defended -- but we have determined that personal empowerment should be something separate from politics or religion.
What we are seeing, I fear, is a terribly wrong-headed reduction of the Eastern path of self-realization to a kind of psychologized concern with self-improvement.
Self-realization, even in its most rudimentary stages, requires a rigorous spiritual self-examination and constant effort at clarification, purification, and control of many, many dimensions of one's thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. Pakistani quake 500,000 await AID
I'm regretful that I haven't posted anything thus far on the Pakistani Quake.
Sometimes it's hard for the human mind to find the words. Under a 1,000
fatalities for Hurricane Katrina yet nearly the worst US disaster in history
and this one may reach 50,000 fatalities? FIFTY THOUSAND? One
reporter landed in helicopter and was mobbed by residents looking for food,
water or medical supplies. He said on camera "It got me thinking about what
we do and that perhaps, I should've brought water with me" Gee, ya think?
Your just NOW thinking that? You pack your camera, your equipment, all
that gear and heading in to cover a devastated region STILL awaiting AID
and it doesn't hit you until you are mobbed by sobbing Pakistanis? Wow.
So many people asleep literally. Perhaps because it's just too hard sometimes
to take in. Suffering everywhere you look these days in our country and in
places a world apart from us. Life is so beautiful it hurts sometimes. Just
everyday things and words and just life. And life is so sad sometimes it is also
hard to think about. Too easy to just "tune it out" I know it sounds corny but
I honestly would find immense joy in winning the 350+ million dollar Powerball
jackpot and take my 125 lump sum not just to acquire "things" I can't think of
many "things" I would care about that much. I'd travel. And I'd love to have
that kind of money that I could put it in to action like Angelina Jolie and help
those who need it. THAT would be the definition of joy.
Half a million survivors of the south Asia earthquake have yet to receive relief supplies, the UN World Food Programme (WFP) said today.
Hundreds of remote villages have yet to receive help and there are growing fears that with the onset of winter, exposure and infections could push the death toll from the October 8 earthquake well above the current total of 54,000, the WFP said.
The organization's executive director, James Morris, said the relief effort was one of the most challenging the world had ever faced.
"The aid agencies have managed to give some help to hundreds of thousands of people, but there are an estimated half a million more people out there in desperate need, who no one has managed to reach," he said from Dubai.
The slow response to the disaster in some areas has prompted anger towards the authorities involved.
Aid workers have had to cope with regular periods of bad weather and heavy rains at the weekend grounded many relief flights.
Pakistani and US military helicopters delivered aid today to Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, but the problem lies in getting supplies to surrounding areas, which are mountainous, remote and were close to the epicentre of the quake, which measured 7.6 on the Richter scale.
The delivery of aid on the ground has been restricted by landslides that have cut off many roads and are likely to take weeks to clear.
The UN said more than 80 helicopters were already involved in relief operations and a spokesman for the Pakistani army said the US military were expected to provide another 24 Chinook helicopters within the week.
The Pakistani army's chief spokesman, Major General Shaukat Sultan, said relief workers were expected to reach all affected villages in the next few days.
He said some soldiers were delivering aid on foot and carrying out injured people on their backs. Soldiers have also driven mule teams with relief supplies to some mountain villages.
The spokesman admitted, however, that even at the villages where some aid had managed to get through, not all the survivors had enough shelter.
Pakistan's president, General Pervez Musharraf, made a new appeal to the international community for tents, saying shelter was the main priority.
He made the appeal after travelling by helicopter to the Kashmiri town of Bagh, where he met injured victims of the earthquake.
"We gave all the tents that the army had. We bought all that were in Pakistan. Now we are looking abroad, in the international community," Gen Musharraf said.
The UN is planning to send up to 150,000 more tents, in addition to the 30,000 already distributed, a spokesman said, and field hospitals with operating theatres were being set up, improving the survival chances for those requiring urgent surgery.
But the large numbers of patients was still "overwhelming", he added.
Keith Ursel, Muzaffarabad operations head for the WFP, said thousands of lives were at stake.
"We need 570 tonnes of food every day to feed the affected people stranded in these villages," he said. "It is always a mixture of starvation, wounds or rough weather and fear which lead to massive deaths in such a situation."
The UN estimates that 3.3 million people have been left in need food and shelter as winter approaches, and snow is already falling in some areas. Some 80,000 people were injured in the quake.
Violence in India-controlled Kashmir continued today, with suspected Islamist militants killing the state's education minister during a raid on a high-security neighbourhood that also left at least three other people dead.
Soldiers continued to exchange gunfire with militants holed up at the home of the minister, Ghulam Nabi Lone, police said.
The attack came despite an order from the United Jihad Council, an umbrella organisation of militant groups, to suspend attacks after the quake, which killed at least 1,300 people died on the Indian side of the province.
India has provided some aid to Pakistan, but turned down a Pakistani suggestion that it send military helicopters - without crews - to help with relief work.
Pakistan, which has fought two of its three wars with India over Kashmir, said it could not have the Indian military involved directly in relief efforts.

bankruptcy deadline nears
Look at the flurry of bankruptcy filings. Unreal! God bless the lawyers who are burning the midnight oil to get these in before Mondays deadline. I know what you're thinking- they just
want the money. In some cases, that may be true. But in others, I do believe they are very
aware at how harsh these landmark revisions will be on debtors and how pro-creditor this
legislation truly is.
And I will also say I have personally experienced a TOP NOTCH AND
GOOD, COMPASSIONATE lawyer in my lifetime. They DO exist. Once this legislation passes however, I hope a new administration comes in to change back again. It's incredibly vile. I feel for the farmers, those strapped with medical bills (you know longer can discharge medical bills in many instances), and just anyone looking for an honest, legitimate fresh start after misfortune. Pro corporation, pro creditor who throw new higher and higher interest credit card applications at lower and lower income Americans this is the single biggest black eye on this Administration in my eyes. And it is part of the "it needs to get worse before it gets better" aspect that we always talk about here in the chasm of the Great Emergence. I'm not talking about the free loaders who pile up debt irresponsibly and then discharge it like a few attorneys told us THEY did after law school, or like a few prominent business people in our community have done 2-3 times just because "everybody does it", I'm talking about your garden variety misfortunate of illness, loss of business, loss of spouse that occurs in life. These poor people will now be strapped for rest of their lives until the next beacon of Light comes in to change it and change it good. JILL
For the 4th straight week a US record was set for bankruptcy filings. Nearly 103,000 Americans filed for bankruptcy in the week that ended Friday, up from the previous weekly high of 68,287, according to figures from Lundquist Consulting Inc. of Burlingame, Calif., a financial-services advisory firm.
Typically, bankruptcy filings were about 30,000 a week.
The deluge has swamped bankruptcy lawyers across the country and forced many to turn away customers. Washington lawyer Scott Arnopol said he was handling more than twice as many cases as usual and was trying not to turn anyone away.
"This is like April 15 with tax returns. It's the only analogy I can think of," Arnopol said. "We're trying to file these cases as fast as we finish them. Normally we have a five-day turnaround for these petitions; now we're doing them in 24 hours."
The rush is intended to beat Monday's enactment of new eligibility limits for filing under Chapter 7 of the bankruptcy code, which allows those in fiscal trouble to erase their debts after forfeiting their assets.
Under the new law, only bankruptcy petitioners who earn less than the median income in their states are eligible to file under Chapter 7. Those who earn more and can repay at least $6,000 over five years can file only under a Chapter 13 debt reorganization plan, which requires some repayment.
The law would force about 10 percent of debtors to seek Chapter 13 debt relief instead of Chapter 7 protection, studies have found. As a result, creditors would net another $1 billion to $4 billion in debt repayments over five years, according to similar studies.
The law also requires filers to submit more paperwork, such as tax returns and paycheck stubs, and to get credit counseling at their own expense within six months of applying.
To a lesser extent, the law also makes it tougher to file for commercial bankruptcy by giving companies that seek debt protection less time to decide whether to assume or reject leases. They'll also have less discretion in deciding whether to propose reorganization plans and will be required to have more cash available to pay utilities and suppliers in order to keep operating.
As a result, business bankruptcy filings also have accelerated. Notable companies that filed recently include Northwest and Delta airlines and auto-parts maker Delphi.
One group that may not be able to file before the new restrictions take effect are destitute Hurricane Katrina survivors. Many are tending to more immediate concerns such as relocating, finding jobs, reconnecting with family members and recovering from injuries.
It probably will be one to three years before Katrina victims make a noticeable dent in the bankruptcy caseload, said law professor Robert Lawless of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, who's studied bankruptcy filings after major hurricanes.
"There's always a rather significant delay from the onset of problems to the actual bankruptcy filing, so it doesn't surprise me at all that we don't immediately see" a large number of hurricane victims in bankruptcy court, he said.

Irealized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentlemanwas his salvation.I held my tears as I stood there with them.The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.He said, "Coffee is all Miss" because that was all they could afford. (Ifthey wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something.He just wanted to be warm).Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out andembraced the little man with the blue eyes.That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging myevery action.I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two morebreakfast meals on a separate tray.I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as aresting spot. blah blah blah
Is it just me or is it increasingly difficult to watch ANY
news due to the political bickering (that's the G rated word)
in this country? I know, I know what you are thinking, it's
ALWAYS been difficult yes, that's true but I mean it is Red
Zone off the charts bad.
It's as if there is some grand conspiracy for Washington to
continue to churn out scandals lately and for the media to
go hohhummm and then focus solely on the Sneeches
mentality of the story. "No you didn't" "Yes you dddiiid"
"No I didn't" "Well, I'm telling Mom" "I know you are but
what am I? Neener! "
I don't care WHAT side you are on!
The Dems they are in need of therapy as they have NO
confidence. No united voice and then when they do come out
it's as if they are just not
confident enough to really say what's on their minds for fear
they will lose a constituent or two. Where are all the causes
they use to fight for? Rising homelessness. Lack of health care.
American Indian suicides. Not pretty vote right? And the
Rights well, let's just say they lost me a while ago. They didn't
lose me at hello, I bumbled along for the ride for a while but
more and more they give a whole new meaning to split reality in the
"Flip" or Great Emergence that this planet is currently under
going. It's always "This is scandalous that we'd even be bothered
by such nonsense!" Harumph!
Even more remarkable is what's NOT reported. Don't
you find it odd? I find I get most of my news from PRINT.
I can delve into something I want to know more about that
really isn't anywhere on the so called "news channels" and I know
I didn't just dream about it- that it really DID happen. Some
times just for entertainment purposes, I actually READ the
breaking news crawls that appear below the news channels.
Quite tragic what actually constitutes "breaking news" or this just
in these days isn't it? I hate to say it but I get most of my TV News
from Emmy award winner Jon Stewart on the Daily show. I figure
Nothing like a great belly laugh after a long day.
Especially at the expense of American Politics. And when time
allows, which is far to little these days, I catch my favorite radio
show, "NOONDAY" with Jack & Sandy, and I find it's for the most
part gleefully void of politics! And there are alot of great BLOGS
out there, I just don't have time to read them all! I mean come
on I have to post on MY Blog. And I DO have a life! That includes
a busy 7 year old Cub Scout and football player and a 9 year old
dancer and tennis player! You know the Blog thing is a epidemic
of sorts when nearly every member of your family has one!
(all but Mom and Dad as of this week) It's a fun epidemic- it shows
humanity's creativity. One big melting pot of creativity and ingenuity.
But I hate the "Media Blogs" what a joke. Everyone has one now
and it's like, what's the point? You already have your OWN show on
NATIONAL television. Hello!!!! Can we say narcissistic?
One last thing, why do the news
channels have to pick 2-3 of the same stories and hammer them
to death over and over and over again? Surely, there's got to be
more interesting range of stories to deliver that which occurred on the
planet in the last say oh hour and hour and half? Heck, even in
the last 24 hours would suffice! I'm not crabby, even though it
sounds like I am. It's just all cracking me up.
Well, my log is nearly flickering out
finally. That's the best part about a blustery day up Nort. A good ol'
cracklin' fire. So big that I had to stay up to tend to it a bit longer than
I intended! I stayed up later than I have in a month. What a snoozer
I can be! Such is life when you are narrating national television show,
managing city's first Ebay trading post part time, shuffling kids to and
fro from school and activities and dr appointments, and just enjoying
life in the Now. Thanks for stopping by and making it worth my time
to write. Because if you never did- then well, I'd just be talking to myself.

Here's a good one for instance. Didn't see this one on the 6 o clock news did ya? Just not sexy enough I guess. I doubt it would even make a blurb in your local paper sadly. But it's a biggie. And it gives us the "Meet the F#@*kers" quote of the day kids---from the Timber Industry---we mustn't let "MOTHER NATURE RUN AMUK" now should we?! Now that's a classic!

And not only will it take centuries for these trees to grow back, yes- I know they WILL grow back and they ARE a reknewable resource, but we'll be long gone. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A coalition of 20 environmental groups sued the Bush administration Thursday to block road construction, logging and industrial development on more than 90,000 square miles of the nation's last untouched forests.
In the lawsuit, the Sierra Club, National Audubon Society, Greenpeace and other groups challenge the U.S. Forest Service decision earlier this year to repeal President Clinton's 2001 "roadless rule" that protected 58.5 million acres of undeveloped national forest.
"These are the last wild areas of North America, and there is overwhelming public support for their protection from development," said Kristen Boyles, a staff attorney for Oakland-based Earthjustice, which filed the lawsuit on behalf of the plaintiffs.
The federal lawsuit comes about a month after the attorneys general for California, New Mexico and Oregon brought a similar legal challenge. Both lawsuits allege the Bush administration violated federal law by not studying the environmental impacts of repealing the Clinton rule.
The U.S. Forest Service would not comment because the litigation is pending, said spokeswoman Heidi Valetkevitch.
Just before he left office in January 2001, Clinton issued a rule banning development and road building on almost one-third of the nation's 192 million acres of national forest land. The move was praised by environmentalists, but criticized by timber interests.
The Bush administration repealed the rule in May and issued a new policy that required states to work with Forest Service officials to devise management plans for individual forests.
Administration officials and timber industry representatives point out that the Clinton rule was struck down in 2003 by a federal judge who said the executive branch had overstepped its authority when it issued the regulation.
Chris West, vice president of the American Forest Resource Council, a timber industry group, decried the latest lawsuit. He said the environmental groups should participate in the process of determining how individual forests are managed instead of fighting the new regulations. He also said that allowing road construction in undeveloped forests would help prevent catastrophic forest fires.
"If we let Mother Nature run rampant, we're going to get these 100,000-acre fires, and it will take centuries for those areas to recover," West said.
Environmentalists say that roadless forests must be protected because they are some of the most pristine places in the United States, with clean drinking water, unspoiled habitat for fish and wildlife and unrivaled hiking and fishing.
"Because they haven't been logged, mined or roaded, they're still in their natural condition," said Doug Heiken of the Oregon Natural Resources Council.

That all changed when she won $1.6 million — before taxes — playing a slot machine at Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino (search).
"When it happened, I didn't know what was going on," Sherman said. "I had just put in my $20 in the "Wheel of Fortune" machine when it hit. My feeling about this win is better than being blessed. Thank you, Lord."

Message on the changes
The following is a channeled message received by Rev. Hope Gorman
of the Hope Interfaith Center in Mankato, Minnesota. The link to the Center
is here on my blog. Hope is her name given by the Angels she hears and it
stands for "Help Open Planetary Eyes". I had several readings with her by
phone and I have met her and witnessed a channeled
message that led to her being one of my mentors on this journey. It was a very
moving and powerful message and even though it forecasted great changes, I found
it very comforting to know she was here to relay such a message.
This message was channeled by Hope on August 22nd of this year in reference
to the changes on this planet and published in her center's Newsletter. It is being
published here with her permission. I hope you find it helpful. Indeed the new
must rise up. And YOU, yes YOU must be an active part of that changing of the
guard. Seek what is truth. Seek what makes sense and discard what does not. Do not
isolate yourself. Be with those that make you laugh. Share with others the bounty
that is you and your life.Be forgiving of others AND YOURSELF and all that you have
created in your reality. Know that you have the power to change it.
And may you always stay in the Divine Light and focus on the Highest good, for it
is then that you will quite effortlessly "walk across the chasm" on this beam of Light.
Safe in the Divine sanctity of One and all that swirls around you. Jill
Changes are occurring on your planet. And as you see, a call for radical changes
in the ground rules that govern your physical reality are called for as well. You must
be ready and wililng to establish a new life style of living a life that is intoned to Peace,

stable is now thrust into movement. The challenges with which you will undoubtedly
be faced will vary according to the levels of resistance posed to the reality of what is
transpiring in your life. You can anticipate being pressed to the max in the years
ahead as the old must go and the new must rise up!
In the midst of un-needed War and Crime and Gas hikes, no health insurance, no jobs
and losing jobs, famine and illness, do you not see that the shifting sands under your
feet need attention? The systems on which your society is based will experience a
fundamental vibrational break down. The old paradigm must change now and it is!
But be strong my beautiful children of the LIGHT because as you stay focused on the
highest good and the highest good of all in all of your decisions you will be safe in the
sanctity of all that swirls around you.
Most people from your planet have not remained in their sacred center of sharing. But
ultimately, they will realize that they cannot afford to be asleep at the wheel.
These are the ones creating the nightmare. And whether or not you wish to continue
acting it out becomes a question of choice. Ultimately, all of you will begin to notice the
correlation between your actions and your lifestyle, which will equal your world. Do not
be in fear or turmoil over what is happening. Choose transformation by using your power
of choice.
Also, take a look at your thought forms that float freely within your consciousness for they
will continue to manifest during this transitory stage. For your reality IS a vivid represenation
of all that dwells, overtly as well as dormantly, within your consciousness. Instead of
taking directions from President Bush who continues to say "We must stay the course", it
is time to listen to your Holiness called "Omni Creator God" who says "Stay the Course" which refers to the Course of Miracles or any course that will bring you into greater and greater
spiritual actions. As you continue to stay on your course with God, have certainty
consciousness that with LOVE you can change the world. Then the potential storm of
major proportions will barely make a ripple upon the waters within you. In the changes
that are taking place remember that you are not alone! God and the Angelic army of
Grace and Peace and Love and Harmony and Sharing are with you on your journey. Join
the army of God and you will be in good company despite the accelerating momentum of
changes. Become the "rock" of right choices for others to follow.
Find yourself a community and band together as if your life depended upon it because it
does! Like-minded energy will bond with like minded energy. If you take a look around

Safe in the Divine sanctity of One and all that swirls around you. Jill
Changes are occurring on your planet. And as you see, a call for radical changes
in the ground rules that govern your physical reality are called for as well. You must
be ready and wililng to establish a new life style of living a life that is intoned to Peace,
Harmony, Forgiveness, Love and Justice for All. This is the opportunity that is being
extended to you at this time. In this process of change, much that might have seemed
stable is now thrust into movement. The challenges with which you will undoubtedly
be faced will vary according to the levels of resistance posed to the reality of what is

In the midst of un-needed War and Crime and Gas hikes, no health insurance, no jobs
and losing jobs, famine and illness, do you not see that the shifting sands under your
feet need attention? The systems on which your society is based will experience a
fundamental vibrational break down. The old paradigm must change now and it is!
But be strong my beautiful children of the LIGHT because as you stay focused on the
highest good and the highest good of all in all of your decisions you will be safe in the
sanctity of all that swirls around you.
Most people from your planet have not remained in their sacred center of sharing. But
ultimately, they will realize that they cannot afford to be asleep at the wheel.
These are the ones creating the nightmare. And whether or not you wish to continue
acting it out becomes a question of choice. Ultimately, all of you will begin to notice the
correlation between your actions and your lifestyle, which will equal your world. Do not
be in fear or turmoil over what is happening. Choose transformation by using your power
of choice.
Also, take a look at your thought forms that float freely within your consciousness for they
will continue to manifest during this transitory stage. For your reality IS a vivid represenation
of all that dwells, overtly as well as dormantly, within your consciousness. Instead of
taking directions from President Bush who continues to say "We must stay the course", it
is time to listen to your Holiness called "Omni Creator God" who says "Stay the Course" which refers to the Course of Miracles or any course that will bring you into greater and greater
spiritual actions. As you continue to stay on your course with God, have certainty
consciousness that with LOVE you can change the world. Then the potential storm of
major proportions will barely make a ripple upon the waters within you. In the changes
that are taking place remember that you are not alone! God and the Angelic army of
Grace and Peace and Love and Harmony and Sharing are with you on your journey. Join
the army of God and you will be in good company despite the accelerating momentum of
changes. Become the "rock" of right choices for others to follow.

An Authentic Message Facing Those in the Gulf Coast
Hello friends,
My family evacuated prior to the hurricane and is safe, Alex, my son, and I stayed to care for pets that owners could not or would not evacuate with them. The conditions have been primitive and challenging, and then they turned very dangerous.
Alex and I stayed and cared for the animals (we could handle no water, electricity, and water in the steamy summer heat) until we felt our lives were at risk, and we were able to escape the city out the back door as security in the Big Easy deteriorated. Physically we are both in excellent shape as I prepared for the worst before the arrival of Katrina.
As far as emotionally, I have RARELY felt so peaceful, serene, and in a place of unconditional love since the hurricane started bearing down on the city. A surreal sense of calm, oneness, and caring has overwhelmed me since this challenge has arrived in my small microcosm of the universe. I realize that this is a sign for me that I need to look at. My heart feels more open than it ever has!
This challenge is happening for a reason, and even though it may not be apparent at this point to most the world, I KNOW that the lessons that we are to learn from this very low vibration that has been and is continuing to be CREATED by OUR collective consciousness will help our evolution on this planet.
Don't only meditate and pray for peace in my home in New Orleans, but BE peace and love at every moment with everyone you encounter, be thankful for all of our blessings...especially the simple ones we take for granted. This is one way we can raise our vibration and that of our planet, and the ripple effects will reach New Orleans and the gulf coast.
If I can be in this place of acceptance, love, and peace after losing my home, my businesses, and a city that I love so dearly, so can everyone else. More than ever, this is what needed on our planet. Total acceptance. And the knowing that we have a responsibility to change what doesn't work anymore, to change the things that were in place that WE created that led to the current unrest in New Orleans, long after Katrina was gone.
To me, THIS is the real issue we should be addressing. If we had not created a situation where almost one fourth of my city's residents live BELOW the poverty level, I know that the instability in the city would not exist in the aftermath of a storm that only lasted a matter of hours.
Until mankind addresses this deeper core issue, and until we correct this inequity worldwide, there will be many more "cries for help", however unacceptable, by the lower socio-economic groups of souls that WE have created, much like we are now seeing in New Orleans. I feel their pain, their fear, their feelings of loss and despair, and I understand their unconscious actions for basic survival. They are not crying out for just supplies, they are crying out for love and acceptance from mankind.
How shall we respond?
This is a another opportunity for mankind to demonstrate and express WHO WE REALLY ARE and to change what WE have created on this planet.
I am excited about this opportunity to accept what is, embrace it, and decide WHO AM I IN RELATION TO THIS?
Life is full of challenges, and the universe will never fail to give us opportunities to evolve. This is mine and I am blessed to have this spiritual slap on the side of my head. I will make the most of this opportunity. I hope that anyone who has been affected by the ongoing events in my beloved hometown does the same. The consciousness of our planet needs the compassionate, heartfelt love and light from all souls touched by the ongoing events.
Please stop for 5 minutes RIGHT NOW and close your eyes, breathe deeply, and passionately envision our leaders making choices and decisions that will be for the highest good for all involved on the gulf coast. We can let go and let God empower our leaders to hasten a rapid recovery of this devastated area and pray for a major healing. Nothing is more important at THIS moment RIGHT NOW.

new planet has a moon

LOS ANGELES - The astronomers who claim to have discovered the 10th planet in the solar system have another intriguing announcement: It has a moon.
While observing the new, so-called planet from Hawaii last month, a team of astronomers led by Michael Brown of the California Institute of Technology spotted a faint object trailing next to it. Because it was moving, astronomers ruled it was a moon and not a background star, which is stationary.
The moon discovery is important because it can help scientists determine the new planet's mass. In July, Brown announced the discovery of an icy, rocky object larger than Pluto in the Kuiper Belt, a disc of icy bodies beyond Neptune. The newly discovered moon is about 155 miles wide and 60 times fainter than Xena, the farthest-known object in the solar system. It is currently 9 billion miles away from the sun, or about three times Pluto's current distance from the sun.
Scientists believe Xena's moon was formed when Kuiper Belt objects collided with one another. The Earth's moon formed in a similar way when Earth crashed into an object the size of Mars.
The moon was first spotted by a 10-meter telescope at the W.M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii on Sept. 10. Scientists expect to learn more about the moon's composition during further observations with the
Hubble Space Telescope in November.
Brown planned to submit a paper describing the moon discovery to the Astrophysical Journal next week. The International Astronomical Union, a group of scientists responsible for naming planets, is deciding on formal names for Xena and Gabrielle.
LOS ANGELES - The astronomers who claim to have discovered the 10th planet in the solar system have another intriguing announcement: It has a moon.
While observing the new, so-called planet from Hawaii last month, a team of astronomers led by Michael Brown of the California Institute of Technology spotted a faint object trailing next to it. Because it was moving, astronomers ruled it was a moon and not a background star, which is stationary.

weather modification
This bill went into effect today. Kinda creeps me out. Seems like it is trying to
legitimize governments involvement in weather modification. Weather modification that spews chemicals in the air to "make rain" chemicals that are causing, literally, acid rainfalls in some areas. Along with 3 legged frogs in the lakes and rivers of Minnesota. One of the larger Modification companies, private anyway, are right here in Fargo, North Dakota. Many intelligent mediums I know say the Government has been manipulating weather for decades. Secretly of course. This bill seems to me to be saying that it will be coming more out into the open as they "research" it further. I don't like that one bit.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the `Weather Modification Research and Technology Transfer Authorization Act of 2005'.
SEC. 2. PURPOSE.
It is the purpose of this Act to develop and implement a comprehensive and coordinated national weather modification policy and a national cooperative Federal and State program of weather modification research and development.
SEC. 3. DEFINITIONS.
In this Act:
(1) BOARD- The term `Board' means the Weather Modification Advisory and Research Board.
(2) EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR- The term `Executive Director' means the Executive Director of the Weather Modification Advisory and Research Board.
(3) RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT- The term `research and development' means theoretical analysis, exploration, experimentation, and the extension of investigative findings and theories of scientific or technical nature into practical application for experimental and demonstration purposes, including the experimental production and testing of models, devices, equipment, materials, and processes.
(4) WEATHER MODIFICATION- The term `weather modification' means changing or controlling, or attempting to change or control, by artificial methods the natural development of atmospheric cloud forms or precipitation forms which occur in the troposphere.
SEC. 4. WEATHER MODIFICATION ADVISORY AND RESEARCH BOARD ESTABLISHED.
(a) IN GENERAL- There is established in the Department of Commerce the Weather Modification Advisory and Research Board.
(b) MEMBERSHIP-
(1) IN GENERAL- The Board shall consist of 11 members appointed by the Secretary of Commerce, of whom--
(A) at least 1 shall be a representative of the American Meteorological Society;
(B) at least 1 shall be a representative of the American Society of Civil Engineers;
(C) at least 1 shall be a representative of the National Academy of Sciences;
(D) at least 1 shall be a representative of the National Center for Atmospheric Research of the National Science Foundation;
(E) at least 2 shall be representatives of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the Department of Commerce;
(F) at least 1 shall be a representative of institutions of higher education or research institutes; and
(G) at least 1 shall be a representative of a State that is currently supporting operational weather modification projects.
(2) TENURE- A member of the Board serves at the pleasure of the Secretary of Commerce.
(3) VACANCIES- Any vacancy on the Board shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.
(b) ADVISORY COMMITTEES- The Board may establish advisory committees to advise the Board and to make recommendations to the Board concerning legislation, policies, administration, research, and other matters.
(c) INITIAL MEETING- Not later than 30 days after the date on which all members of the Board have been appointed, the Board shall hold its first meeting.
(d) MEETINGS- The Board shall meet at the call of the Chair.
(e) QUORUM- A majority of the members of the Board shall constitute a quorum, but a lesser number of members may hold hearings.
(f) CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR- The Board shall select a Chair and Vice Chair from among its members.
SEC. 5. DUTIES OF THE BOARD.
(a) PROMOTION OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT- In order to assist in expanding the theoretical and practical knowledge of weather modification, the Board shall promote and fund research and development, studies, and investigations with respect to--
(1) improved forecast and decision-making technologies for weather modification operations, including tailored computer workstations and software and new observation systems with remote sensors; and
(2) assessments and evaluations of the efficacy of weather modification, both purposeful (including cloud-seeding operations) and inadvertent (including downwind effects and anthropogenic effects).
(b) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE- Unless the use of the money is restricted or subject to any limitations provided by law, the Board shall use amounts in the Weather Modification Research and Development Fund--
(1) to pay its expenses in the administration of this Act, and
(2) to provide for research and development with respect to weather modifications by grants to, or contracts or cooperative arrangements, with public or private agencies.
(c) REPORT- The Board shall submit to the Secretary biennially a report on its findings and research results.
SEC. 6. POWERS OF THE BOARD.
(a) STUDIES, INVESTIGATIONS, AND HEARINGS- The Board may make any studies or investigations, obtain any information, and hold any hearings necessary or proper to administer or enforce this Act or any rules or orders issued under this Act.
(b) PERSONNEL- The Board may employ, as provided for in appropriations Acts, an Executive Director and other support staff necessary to perform duties and functions under this Act.
(c) COOPERATION WITH OTHER AGENCIES- The Board may cooperate with public or private agencies to promote the purposes of this Act.
(d) COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS- The Board may enter into cooperative agreements with the head of any department or agency of the United States, an appropriate official of any State or political subdivision of a State, or an appropriate official of any private or public agency or organization for conducting weather modification activities or cloud-seeding operations.
(e) CONDUCT AND CONTRACTS FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT- The Executive Director, with the approval of the Board, may conduct and may contract for research and development activities relating to the purposes of this section.
SEC. 7. COOPERATION WITH THE WEATHER MODIFICATION OPERATIONS AND RESEARCH BOARD.
The heads of the departments and agencies of the United States and the heads of any other public or private agencies and institutions that receive research funds from the United States shall, to the extent possible, give full support and cooperation to the Board and to initiate independent research and development programs that address weather modifications.
SEC. 8. FUNDING.
(a) IN GENERAL- There is established within the Treasury of the United States the Weather Modification Research and Development Fund, which shall consist of amounts appropriated pursuant to subsection (b) or received by the Board under subsection (c).
(b) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS- There is authorized to be appropriated to the Board for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of this Act $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2005 through 2014. Any sums appropriated under this subsection shall remain available, without fiscal year limitation, until expended.
(c) GIFTS- The Board may accept, use, and dispose of gifts or donations of services or property.
SEC. 9. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Act shall take effect on October 1, 2005.
