This is scary stuff folks---even though I'm not one for promoting any fear energy. We must be vigilant in remaining only in Love- especially when Fear is essentially promoted everywhere we turn. But this piece is stunning to me. Please keep in mind the Reserve is a PRIVATELY owned bank. A bank that noone is allowed to know who serves on its board and a bank that has caused enormous debt in the system. The Reserve has greatly benefitted from the so called "crisis" of our economy going back to the Depression like a beast that keeps wanting more.
Many economists feel the mortgage crisis could have been avoided but was largely a "controlled chaos" with the Reserve pulling the strings and adjusting the rates and the most oppurtune times. Now is the time to be vigilant and pay attention to whats being done underneath our noses- but not on mainstream media- thats a goner. Guardian (UK) is always an excellent source online. As is Free Speech Tv (we get it on Dish), Democracy Now (PBS), Link (Dish) and for radio NPR or National Public Radio. Don't bother with any 24 hour TV news channels that salvated the march to war with fancy jingles and graphics that practically handed over a free bag of popcorn with the "Shock and Awe" coverage- or DirectTv-thats owned by NewsCorp conglomeration (Rupert Murdoch).

Federal Reserves powers to expand

The Bush administration today set out a blueprint for a wholesale overhaul of America's financial regulation system which proposes far-reaching new powers for the Federal Reserve to tackle potentially troublesome banks and brokerages.
Delivering a speech in the treasury's ornate Cash Room, treasury secretary Henry Paulson set out a plan to turn the Federal Reserve into one of three "super-regulators" to replace a diffuse network of public agencies.
"A strong financial system is vitally important not for Wall Street, not for banks, but for all working Americans," said Paulson. "When our financial system is under stress, millions of working Americans bear the consequences."
Under the plan, the Fed would be allowed to delve into the books of banks, brokers and insurance companies if it suspects they contained problems posing a risk to the overall financial system.
A second body called the Prudential Financial Regulatory Agency would specifically concentrate on banks with a government guarantee, while a third, the Business Regulatory Agency, would focus on consumer protection.
Meanwhile, several existing agencies would be merged under the plans. The Securities and Exchange Commission would be combined with the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, which oversees dealing in derivatives.
In an attempt to stave off future mortgage lending crises, the plan would create a Mortgage Orientation Commission that would establish uniform licensing and education standards for state mortgage brokers.
The commission would also study each state's mortgage regulatory system, determine which laws need better enforcement, and assess how effectively states are enforcing current laws. The plan would also clarify the states' role in enforcing federal lending laws.
The ideas were cautiously welcomed by Wall Street but they drew instant scepticism from consumers who questioned whether the Fed was the right body to sit on top of the regulatory tree. Critics pointed out that the Fed had proven ineffective in spotting warning signs of the present credit crunch.
"They missed the sub-prime mortgage crisis," said Greg Valliere, chief political strategist at the Stanford Financial Group. "This is like putting Eliot Spitzer in charge of the morals division."
The treasury secretary's Wall Street background as a former chairman of Goldman Sachs has prompted consumer advocates to suggest that he has an in-built dislike of tough regulation.
Paulson stressed that his ideas outlined a long-term vision and were not intended to be an instant reaction to the present financial turbulence.
Instead, he wants to kick off a broader debate about a modern replacement for a patchwork of regulatory structures which has been stitched together over the course of many decades.
"I am not suggesting that more regulation is the answer, or even that more effective regulation can prevent the periods of financial market stress that seem to occur every five to ten years," said Paulson. "I am suggesting that we should and can have a structure that is designed for the world we live in."
Big banks saw little to fear in the blueprint. Thomas Russo, chief legal officer of Lehman Brothers, told the Wall Street Journal: "Anything that moves the current fragmented regulatory system forward to a more coordinated structure is good."
But the Consumer Federation of America said the plan would only allow the Fed to exercise its new powers when it felt the entire system was at risk – in other words, when a problem had already become severe.
"This is a crisis management approach which is not conducive to market stability," said Barbara Roper, the federation's director of investor protection. "The Fed's record on recognising risk in advance is remarkably poor."
She said there was logic in a regulatory shakeup to change a system whereby banks, brokerages and insurance firms each have different oversight. The boundaries between these industries have become blurred as many Wall Street firms dabble in multiple areas.
But she added that there was little comfort for victims of the present sub-prime mortgage crisis: "It's like saying to Katrina victims stranded on the roofs of homes 'don't worry – if you can just hold on a few years, we've got a good plan for restructuring emergency response'."
Any proposals face a long road through Democrat-controlled Congress. In a background briefing with reporters, a high-ranking treasury official said the administration had consulted with "many members of Congress" but declined to say if any had been Democratic leaders.
Barney Frank, the Democrat chairman of the house financial services committee, described Paulson's proposals as "a very constructive step in this important debate".
But the influential New York senator Charles Schumer has already questioned the logic in Paulson's intention of creating three regulators.
Schumer has suggested that one overarching body could be more effective – along the lines of Britain's powerful Financial Services Authority.
The treasury official said the administration considered such a move, but said officials determined that US financial markets need a greater focus on consumer protection than the British system provides.
"Our markets and our approach to dealing with our markets is a little bit different that what they do in the UK," the official said. "The UK is much more comfortable regulating wholesale markets, and less on the retail side."

Revelation, Revolution and Resurrection
“Peace be with you. It is time to reveal and thereby create a revolution. As was already given through the Gospels, the signs of the times are now upon you. The future is now!
Look no longer to special dates or years yet to come, for that is a distraction. When I declared that at the end of this Age there would be wars and rumours of wars, and earthquakes in diverse places, and that there would be signs of wonder in the skies, it was not a prophecy. It was a simple understanding of the consequences sown during previous cycles that lie hidden until a new cycle is in the ascendant. Those who have ears to hear, let them hear, all such self-created consequences are designed for self knowledge, which leads to the remembering of each soul’s true nature and Source.
I would remind you that the intent of this message is not to frighten or create anxiety, but to point out that although that the appearances in the world may seemingly be full of upheaval and uncertainty, there is actually a very good reason to be overjoyed by that which may look to be dangerous and fearful. As the storms of madness increase, it is a sure sign that collective ego is desperately attempting to maintain power and control, and ultimately it will use up all of its resources trying to prevent the inevitable…the end of separation from the Father/Mother within the consciousness of every individual. Separation is fear in its ultimate form, and the false ‘power’ that seeks to prevent the spiritual revolution from awakening within the collective heart of humanity knows its time is now very short. Satan is just another name for the lower ‘self’, and it is this ego self that is going mad with its own fear.
In the last message through this channel there was a suggestion to go back to basics, to return to the foundation of truth and communion within your heart and with Spirit. Here is another recommendation: surrender what you know and what you think you know. Information is not the same as wisdom. What is essential to know, you already know. If you needed to know more you would already know it. Ask Spirit to reveal to you what is essential for your journey right now. It is well to prepare ahead of time for the care and sustenance of the body, but useless to spend too much more time in accumulating data and security. The world is drowning in information, and the truth is obscured. Even when you think you ‘know’ something spiritually or metaphysically, it is still influenced and tainted by the context you reside in. Imagine Neo in the make-believe world of the Matrix, oblivious to the fact that he is in a technological ‘Truman Show’, while at the same time thinking he is ‘free.’ Forget what you have learned, your conditioning and manipulated perceptions, and ask to be shown the world and your Self as it truly is. Then you can forgive everything, while at the same time intending to broadcast the highest Light and Love from your Heart so that more ‘balance’ can be manifested to guide you, and everyone and everything else, through the changes ahead.
The desire of many is to create Heaven on Earth. Seek instead to experience Heaven within thine own self, and then it will be manifest as a reflection of that. As Ariel has given before, ‘live Heaven’, which is fundamentally different than seeking to change external conditions, even from the level of intention and the mind! Externals are dependent upon the momentum and focus of belief within the collective, or group mind of humanity, not the domain of the individual. Yes, many minds and hearts together do have influence, and can create balance. Even I did not seek to change the world, and neither do you need to do so. The ‘mission’ of the Christ was to change the hearts of people, to awaken them from their amnesia and break the chains of slavery to materialism and survival consciousness. There is still a great deal of misunderstanding about what it means to ‘save’ a world, or a soul. It is time to reveal the deeper truths in what was said two millennia ago, and is still whispering to each heart even now in the Silence. There are many mansions to aspire to. Therefore, do not seek to carry the burdens of this world on your shoulders, nor become attached to any particular aspect of multi-dimensional identity or reality. Only through understanding this will you not succumb to the despair that disappointments bring when something does not transpire according to your ego’s hopes, dreams and fantasies.
You are not the superior power in this process. Consciousness, Light and Love are the superior power, and Source the only certainty. You may choose to align with Love, and through you that which is most needed in the moment may be accomplished, but only in proportion to the degree with which you surrender your ‘personal’ agenda. Spiritual disciplines are useful to tune the dial of your consciousness to the more refined and subtle broadcasts that emanate from beyond the boundaries of the ‘matrix.’ Going back to basics is a revolutionary act, just as telling the truth is. As you are discovering more and more each day, this world does not love the truth, and prefers lies and deceptions. (I will speak more about this a little later on.) This will change, as more and more of the Presence of Spirit infuses and transmutes the astral and physical realms into balance. Sometimes this will cause disruption and instability, as resistances and blockages are transformed, but bless the chaos nonetheless, as it is a sign of Love in action. Sometimes Love may show itself as anger and fury, but it is never judgmental.
I say to you; be aware that you and the world now stands at the fulcrum point in the Shift of the Ages, halfway through the overlap of the cycle of Pisces with the cycle of Aquarius, but before the full influence of the Aquarian cycle can begin to assist in the transformation of consciousness, the Second Coming of the Christ. The literal beginning of the Age of Aquarius is, as you count time according to the Precession of the Equinoxes, still roughly 200 years away. However, the future is now, not in 2012 or some other appointed time, although this is the time that is a preparation for 2012 and beyond.
What will you sow in the furrows of this time? Your intention is more important than you yet fully realize. Your soul’s agenda will profoundly affect everything. The time that is close at hand will be one in which empowered, God-realized individuals can change the course of time and space. That is the revelation and the revolution that is just around the corner. What do you envision? How large is your passion? Take the time to know yourself first, ask inside what it is that you have been created to give to this world, acting with courage and passion from that wisdom.
Be aware! Be as gentle as doves, but as wise as serpents. There is a temptation now by those controlled by their greed (fear) to use food and energy resources as weapons of control. This feeds their sense of power and their desire to avoid powerlessness. Every day the costs on the basic requirements for life keep rising more rapidly and no one seems to know what to do about it. This is intentional. Part of the scenario is the desire of some to control the profits realized through commodities and so on, so that there is a loose monopoly. Your economic model as it is structured also allows for this very small segment of people to control the resources and distribution of resources. They control the wholesale costs and then it trickles down from there. Do not allow manipulated shortages or the dramatic increases in pricing concern you or frighten you. It is manufactured, designed to ratchet up your fear and keep your focus on survival and the ego’s attachment to security and success. Moreover, do not allow yourself to sell out to fear for a piece of bread, or a gallon of fuel. There is no more effective form of spiritual and emotional blackmail than to make someone believe that their physical survival depends on loyalty to a given government, authority or economic system. When people are hungry or economically strained they tend to give away their power for crumbs. However, there is always another choice.
This other choice is to first of all say ‘no’ to economic blackmail or carrots on sticks. Change must begin within by altering your beliefs about survival in the physical realm. Find out where you stand with your own resources and to your Source. What are your deepest fears and how can they be healed? Are you afraid of being homeless, going hungry, or being bankrupt? Are you afraid you won’t be able to provide for yourself or your family? Do you feel shame because you are in debt or unable to realize your dreams of being a success? My brothers and sisters, you need not take on labels that define failure! Your value is not found in you being ‘successful’ or a ‘good provider’, and your value is not diminished by where and how you live. However, enlightenment and peace is also not easily accessible to those who are at a subsistence level of living, as all of one’s cares and concerns are with mere survival. Therefore, seek to gather wisdom regarding every aspect of your welfare and make a plan.
First, pray. Ask for help and guidance. Then, remove that which is dead weight in your life, whether it is ‘stuff’ in the closet, attic, basement or garage. (You may even need to let some relationships and groups go as well.) Sell or give away as much as you can. Then, find out what you are spending each month and on what. Eliminate wasteful or unnecessary purchases or monthly expenses. Next, if you have a little land available, grow a small garden. If you are in a cold climate, use poly tunnels or build a little greenhouse with plastic and old pallets. Grow herbs and sprouts indoors in window boxes. Reduce or eliminate meat consumption and cut down on fish and poultry as well. Eliminate purchasing produce that is trucked or flown in from hundreds or thousands of miles away. Learn to make your own bread.
Tell the grocers and fuel providers (heating and auto) that keep raising their prices that you will be putting pressure on your politicians to investigate price-fixing and corruption. Boycott where appropriate. By the way, bio-fuels are a red herring that does nothing positive for the environment or your food supplies. Seek out zero-impact solutions that are most affordable for you.
Finally, begin to create neighbourhood and local cooperatives for mutual support and welfare. Talk with those who live closest to you, and suggest that it is now time to become more self-sufficient through the pooling of resources and information. If you live in a small village, investigate the possibility of a group purchase of a wind turbine to power everyone’s homes and thereby remove yourselves off the ‘grid.’ These suggestions are not just a nice way to save the Planet; they are a model of sovereignty and spiritual truth expressed in practical ways. Don’t wait for governments and politicians to do it for you, or you will be waiting for a very long time.
Pay attention to those that are less fortunate to you. They do not want your pity, or judgment. Give them your love, your cash, your direct eye contact. Don’t wonder if they are truly ‘poor’ or if they are scamming you. If you have very little, give of it anyway. Cast your bread upon the waters my friends, and you will never want for whatever it is you need in the next moment, for as you do it unto the least of your brethren, you do it to Me and everyone. The highest knowing is that you do it to yourself.
Here is an intention…a prayer you can use: “Thank you Mother-Father. I ask for and gratefully receive, all that I require for my life, knowing that before I have even asked for it or known that I have required it, it is already mine.”
Revolutions are coming. Some will be gentle, some not so. The stirrings have been felt in Kosovo, and Tibet . Over the next four to six years a whirlwind will shake the established powers of the world even as they attempt to tighten their grip on the helm of power. People will discover that they themselves are powerful and that they are many. The revolution will unfold through what is universally true about all of you; that you are all children of one Source, and no religion, belief, or other temporal power will keep you in separation from each other or from Source any longer. You live on the Earth and She is your Mother. But you are not of the Earth, nor do you belong to Her. You are of Spirit, and you are everywhere and everything. Remember, there are many mansions.
There is a storm-watch set. There are storms and earthquakes coming and though the mountains slide into the sea, fear nothing. As these times unfold, and as you discover and embrace the truth within you, the old structures that are unable or unwilling to transmute and align with the new awareness will dissolve back into their elemental state. The old world will be swept away and there will be a new Heaven, and a new Earth.
The stage is set for the resurrection of Consciousness, Light and Love within humanity, for the Second Coming to awaken and arise within the Hearts of all who choose to end the long sorrow of separation, the dark night of the soul. The One is infiltrating the matrix and it is the power of Love that will overcome it. You are Neo, the One. Be resolute.
Revelations will shake the world, revolutions will arise. Resurrection is here, right now. It is imperative to choose joy above all else. It is your nature. When you are afraid, shake yourself like an earthquake and remember who you are. If you are thirsty or hungry, drink and eat from the well of Spirit…you will be fed and satisfied. When you are in doubt and sorrow, feel it all so that the cup of sorrows may be emptied and then be filled with joy.
There are three R’s, and there is a fourth…Rejoice! Be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world…and so will you.

Reduce or eliminate meat consumption and cut down on fish and poultry as well. Eliminate purchasing produce that is trucked or flown in from hundreds or thousands of miles away. Learn to make your own bread.
Tell the grocers and fuel providers (heating and auto) that keep raising their prices that you will be putting pressure on your politicians to investigate price-fixing and corruption. Boycott where appropriate. By the way, bio-fuels are a red herring that does nothing positive for the environment or your food supplies. Seek out zero-impact solutions that are most affordable for you.
Finally, begin to create neighbourhood and local cooperatives for mutual support and welfare. Talk with those who live closest to you, and suggest that it is now time to become more self-sufficient through the pooling of resources and information. If you live in a small village, investigate the possibility of a group purchase of a wind turbine to power everyone’s homes and thereby remove yourselves off the ‘grid.’ These suggestions are not just a nice way to save the Planet; they are a model of sovereignty and spiritual truth expressed in practical ways. Don’t wait for governments and politicians to do it for you, or you will be waiting for a very long time.
Pay attention to those that are less fortunate to you. They do not want your pity, or judgment. Give them your love, your cash, your direct eye contact. Don’t wonder if they are truly ‘poor’ or if they are scamming you. If you have very little, give of it anyway. Cast your bread upon the waters my friends, and you will never want for whatever it is you need in the next moment, for as you do it unto the least of your brethren, you do it to Me and everyone. The highest knowing is that you do it to yourself.
Here is an intention…a prayer you can use: “Thank you Mother-Father. I ask for and gratefully receive, all that I require for my life, knowing that before I have even asked for it or known that I have required it, it is already mine.”
Revolutions are coming. Some will be gentle, some not so. The stirrings have been felt in Kosovo, and Tibet . Over the next four to six years a whirlwind will shake the established powers of the world even as they attempt to tighten their grip on the helm of power. People will discover that they themselves are powerful and that they are many. The revolution will unfold through what is universally true about all of you; that you are all children of one Source, and no religion, belief, or other temporal power will keep you in separation from each other or from Source any longer. You live on the Earth and She is your Mother. But you are not of the Earth, nor do you belong to Her. You are of Spirit, and you are everywhere and everything. Remember, there are many mansions.
There is a storm-watch set. There are storms and earthquakes coming and though the mountains slide into the sea, fear nothing. As these times unfold, and as you discover and embrace the truth within you, the old structures that are unable or unwilling to transmute and align with the new awareness will dissolve back into their elemental state. The old world will be swept away and there will be a new Heaven, and a new Earth.
The stage is set for the resurrection of Consciousness, Light and Love within humanity, for the Second Coming to awaken and arise within the Hearts of all who choose to end the long sorrow of separation, the dark night of the soul. The One is infiltrating the matrix and it is the power of Love that will overcome it. You are Neo, the One. Be resolute.
Revelations will shake the world, revolutions will arise. Resurrection is here, right now. It is imperative to choose joy above all else. It is your nature. When you are afraid, shake yourself like an earthquake and remember who you are. If you are thirsty or hungry, drink and eat from the well of Spirit…you will be fed and satisfied. When you are in doubt and sorrow, feel it all so that the cup of sorrows may be emptied and then be filled with joy.
There are three R’s, and there is a fourth…Rejoice! Be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world…and so will you.

Sacred images

Kilmore Church, Dervaig, situated at the head of Loch Cuin, in the north of the Isle of Mull, some 10 miles to the west of the main island town of Tobermory. While the chapel was built in early 1900's- There has been worship conducted in the village for close to 800 years. It is unknown who commissioned the image of Jesus and Mary with the scripture referencing Mary M.
Easter message for you.
We finally thought Spring was here after a long, cold winter. For a day or two, we could even see the grass again! My son was so delighted by the Spring rain last week that he said it filled him with the love of God. How often does a Mother hear such a beautiful statement from a 10 year old? However, we awoke on Good Friday to a winter wonderland! 6-8 inches of fresh, fluffy new snow. It was too beautiful and magical for me to be upset about it but we are anxiously anticipating the return of the green and all the beauty and wonder and rebirth that Spring brings us!
This is a week to proclaim our Christianity or whereever we stand in our spirituality. No wussy neutrality this week. Soon it will be the time for Jewish friends to embrace the mystery of Passover.
If you are a traditional Christian or a non traditional Christian as I am, do you find that it is becoming a difficult or at least awkward thing to pronounce? If so, why? If you are a traditional or non traditional Jew or a traditional or non traditional Muslim do you find it more and more difficult to profess your faith to those outside your faith circle? Is it because you do not know yourself what your faith is?
A terrific in depth article in USA TODAY shows us the shift that is occuring in our spiritual identities:
A new map of faith in the USA shows a nation constantly shifting amid religious choices, unaware or unconcerned with doctrinal distinctions. Unbelief is on the rise. And immigration is introducing new faces in the pews, new cultural concerns, new forces in the public square. The U.S. Religious Landscape Survey, released by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, documents new peaks, deepening valleys and fast-running rivers of change in American religiosity
Key findings from the survey:
•Faith is fluid: 44% say they're no longer tied to the religious or secular upbringing of their childhood. They've changed religions or denominations, adopted a faith for the first time or abandoned any affiliation altogether!
•"Nothing" matters: 12.1% say their religious identity is "nothing in particular," outranking every denomination and tradition except Catholics (23.9%) and all groups of Baptists (17.2%).
The report (online at Pewforum.org) sorts people into major groupings: Christian (78.4%); other religions (4.7%) including Jewish (1.7%) and Muslim (0.7%); and "unaffiliated" (16.1%), which includes atheist (1.6%), agnostic (2.4%) and "nothing in particular."
•Nearly 20% of all men and 13% of all women are unaffiliated. So are 25% of adults under age 30.
•The major Christian denominations are losing numbers fast. Only non-denominational churches showed growth outpacing losses.
These overall findings are parsed to a fine degree by being broken down into nearly 250 faiths and traditions!
And so the questions that I have delved into over the past few years and especially this winter are unfolding for many of us it seems.
What is happening to our Faith and how can we keep that which works for us while exploring or even creating new avenues to deepen our spirituality at the same time?
For us non traditional Christians I believe we are seeking a deeper meaning for the rituals we've always practiced and known. We resent and do not identify with the word "religious" but embrace our Individual expression of Spirituality even if that includes many traditional practices. Energetically the dogma and doctrine of "have to", that much of traditonal religious practices, presents a stifling lower vibration of energy. Yet we struggle to maintain the pieces that DO work within our religious traditions. I still attend Mass regularly and especially enjoy the energy of the all school Childrens services at my child's Catholic school. I enjoy seeing the lights go down in the morning and the children praying with their classmates and I balance out the doctrine at home with our own teachings. I have found a profoundly fulfilling weekly prayer group with tremendous women that I feel I can be myself with to share my unique faith journey with in sacred honesty and courage. In fact that is where it all started for me to meld parts of my past with new parts that have arisen and all that I have become NOW in my spiritual journey. Spirit surprised me in the Revelation that this gathering of Light occurred in the traditional spaces I had been contemplating leaving behind.
Spirit may surprise you too if you choose to listen and follow God's will not your own.
This holy week I spent some time meditating and reading the Magdalen Manuscripts. I should note I always approach any channeled material with great discernment and use my own guides and clairsentinance as my guide. But the very first time I read this lengthy series of channels from Tom Kenyon and Judy Sion I felt a higher vibrational presence. And because it is easy to merely focus on Jesus and His love for us this week, I also felt called to recognize Mary M and the role she played in his life and his Resurrection. But, the reason I share it with you in relation to this topic of change is that ultimately the more I dive deeper in Scripture, into my own meditations, into traditional teachings, the more I realize how little we may know some 2,000 years later. And I think for those of us that are expanding our consciousness in these times, we recognize perhaps for decades now that that is the greatest danger of following a strict doctrine without question. And yet, we are looking to be grounded in a purposeful direction and Truth not the ever changing and uncertain guidance of gurus and New Ageness ascension theories.
Be watchful. Seek Truth. Ask what do you REALLY know of your faith and what more do you wish to know?
Mary says in the Manuscript "Many legends abound as to what happened. But for me it is a story of deepest love. That Yeshua (Jesus) had a vision of the world is certainly true but to me it was a love story"
"I was there when Yeshua was crucified. I saw him in the tomb and wrapped him with his mother beside me. I will forever remember the smell of myrrh. Thas one of the ointments we used."
Of the Resurrection she says many, many things over dozens of pages including "Yeshua appeared to me in a luminous light. I could not believe my eyes, and so I touched his wounds. The disciples were jealous that he had come to me first"
"It was strange to have my beloved transported to another realm, another world, while I and our daughter Sar'h crossed the Mediterranean alone. In those years that I was alone by the sea afer Sar'h married, Jesus would often visit of course not as before but more as energy then flesh, more light. When I died he was there and took me into what some call heaven, which is a place within the soul."
"After Yeshua's crucifixion, I and his mother, Mary, Joseph of Arimathea, his 12 year old son Aaron, and two other young women set off from Northern Egypt. Our path eventually led us to Sardenia, and to the tip of what is now the Cinque Terra, finally landing at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and making our trek northward to Northern France through Rennes-le-Chateau into Northern France and across the channel into what is now England. "In the early days of the Church, meaning the community of those who formed around Yeshua's teachings- a most beautiful ritual emerged. Those who wished to continue to be in his energy or presence would share bread and wine. Sometimes the men would share the ritual and sometimes the women. This simple act of sharing among each other was in keeping with Yeshua's intent, and yet as the years progressed the simplicity of this got lost, and only those ordained by the Church could give Communion, something which Yeshua would find most distasteful."
She says "I realize in the sharing of this story that only a handful will understand-but that is enough"
I just wish it to reach much more than that for consideration in this most humble of means.
And for it to be part of my wish for you this week. As well as my Easter gift to her and to Yeshua.
If indeed Jesus was married to Mary Magdalen how would it change how you see him and his story? Her story? I too see it as a Love story. His love for us certainly to blaze a path of Light in the afterlife for us all as well as their obvious love for each other.
Maybe we could become more absolute in our faith if we developed a unified secondary goal in mind along with our primary goal or reaching Heaven. To not just in theory or philosophy or doctrine strive for Oneness but to begin to take the action necessary to come together in our myriad of complex faiths into ONE supreme expression of love for one another and to Love and Serve the One Creator we all strive to be closer to and that we all worship in so very many ways, under so many different names. Isn't this why non-denominational services are so rapidly expanding? Do you think it matters more to God what label has been given to your religious practices OR celebrating in Unision? Or how about HOW you practice and serve?
A friend that is a traditional, devout Catholic recently expressed how much she "gets" out of the homilys of Dr. Robert Schuller on Sunday television and by reading his books. She said hesitantly, "I know it seems almost disrespectful to say but...I just get so much more out of them then Sunday services" To which I said, do you really think your God, and Christ Himself, cares how you find him or what it is that feeds your soul as long as it is fed? We are most in danger of floating along haphazardly like boats with no oar if we are not truly honest with ourselves about what it is we are seeking and how we are going about it and how we are living our lives. And that goes for not just traditional religious practices where one is in danger of being too inclusive, or outright blind like Nicodemous but also in New Age practices as well. After all, what is it they are seeking, how often does it change to fit their own comfort and needs or ego, and what are they basing their Truths on? Is that any different than the traditional religious doctrines they tend to criticize?
I lovingly ask you to to examine and consider: Is there a practice at your place of worship that has changed that once brought Light? Is there a part of you do not agree with but you never speak your mind about it? Is there a way to make it better for all but you never speak of it because "it's just how it's always been" What about other Faiths makes you fearful or uncomfortable?
What is real Truth? How do we find it when there is so much misinformation? Listen. Take time to meditate in silence. This is where God lies. And you will begin to hone your compass. The time is at hand.
Gently speak your hearts where you find mistruths. Even if it is uncomfortable. Especially if the alternative is to be robotic, to obediently follow that that has always been without even understanding what you are practicing or worse, to leave your Faith entirely... drifting along like a cub without it's den.
We must certainly must find that which works within that that serves and feeds us. However and WHEREVER that may be. We are certainly now being called to be a loud, clarion call perhaps within the very walls of the traditional practices to address that which Does NOT work or no longer resonate as Truth. That is why thousands of years later the Gnostic scriptures have been uncovered. All these sacred texts that were kept out of the Bible are now finding the Light. I believe Jesus the rebel stands with us awaiting this revolution and revelation some 2,000 years later! A revolution and evolution of Oneness not divisiveness.
While the world churns and turns in chaos I ask you on this most Holy of days... What are you waiting for?
I have a dream and pray that one day all faiths will come together within their similarities, shedding their differences, in Love, in Truth, to serve and Love. The One - Mother, Father, Creator in us all.
